Before Helenius, Fury, Pulev, Wilder there was Boytsov. He was a hot prospect a couple of years ago and was being brought up through the ranks slowly but surely but injuries have sidelined him for extended period of time. I hope the injuries are behind him because he's a fun hw fighter to watch and matches up well against some of the other prospects in the division...

Boytsov's progress has been at a stand-still for a few years now. You would not believe that he has been a pro for 8 years. At his age he is in no rush to meet the Klitschko brothers but I hope he can take the crucial step of competing against top contenders instead of these journeyman fighters that he has been fighting.

boytsov is a protected fighter & with so much inactivity the last few years he will need that much more time to develope.another issue to consider is his health.can he avoid the injury bug? match him up with david rodriguez.both are coming to critical points in their careers so it would be a solid matchup...

Yeah, I know who Boytsov is and I've seen him fight... a long time ago. Injuries or not, the bloke's wasting his prime. If he's not careful he's going to be 31 and fighting Evander Holyfield for a paper WBA strap.

Boytsov is a beast. Hopefully he can recover from his hand injuries.

                Wow.

Boytsov's level of opposition is only second to Froch.
