BTW...Floyd by UD or late TKO
He's wrong with judah but not on floyd and floyd should easily beat ortiz.

      'manufactured'
      unbeaten record for
      Floyd Mayweather and
      has little respect

      Victor Ortiz, the WBC welterweight
champion, is in a defiant mood ahead
      of his defence against boxing
      superstar Floyd Mayweather Jnr on
September 17 and believes his fellow
American has a record which has been manufactured in recent years. “He’s
good, but he’s not great,” said Ortiz. Billed as a potential ‘Fight of the Year’
      contender, Mexican-American power
puncher Ortiz has no doubts that he
will be the first man to stop the flashy,
      pound-for-pound king, ‘Money’
Mayweather. Ortiz dazzled in his last contest, beating
      previously undefeated welterweight
world champion Andre Berto in a
thriller to claim his first world title.
‘Vicious’ Ortiz is certain he will dish out
similar treatment in just over two weeks’ time by turning many doubters
into believers under the Las Vegas
lights. “He can’t adjust to me,” Ortiz said. “I
don’t care what he brings. He’s done.
He was done when he signed to fight
Victor Ortiz. He’s overdue [a defeat],
he’s way overdue. He’s not supposed
to be here. He’s definitely not supposed to be a 147-pounder and
I’m going to see to it that he knows
that,” he added. “Floyd is a good fighter, but I’ve
always thought he wasn’t great. Ever
since I was a kid, you know, when
you’re a little boy, you sit back and
you say, ‘Wow, that guy’s good. That
guy’s great.’ Oscar [De La Hoya] was one of those for me. [Shane] Mosley
was definitely one of those for me.
Bernard Hopkins was one of those for
me. “In his prime, Zab Judah was one of
those for me, and Floyd, not in his
prime, not in his come-up, not in his
anything has ever been that way, so
I’m definitely not impressed for one,
and I’m not a person who’s going to hold any respect like those other 41
      [who fought Mayweather before]- I’ll
      show you everything on September
17,” said Ortiz. Raised in Garden City, Kansas without
any parents after his mother initially
abandoned the family at the age of
eight, before his father left four years
later, Ortiz relied on his boxing skills to
help provide a better life for him and his two siblings. Used to being written
off, the world champion, a 6-1
underdog, knows he will stun the
      boxing world with victory over
Mayweather. “I’ve always been the underdog in
everything I’ve done in my life, just the
way I’ve grown up and even in
boxing. I was always told I won’t do
certain things or that I didn’t have the
potential to become something big, but I’ve done pretty well for myself so
when I went out looking for Floyd and
he finally accepted I was like ‘Wow,
alright!’,” he said. “Floyd who? That’s it! Everything will
      be discovered and told September
      17th when a man’s career ends, and a
new man’s begins. And let me clarify
for you, Victor Ortiz will begin his reign
on his throne and I’m going to bring a cane for a good friend; make sure his
back ain’t hurting too much or
something,” taunted Ortiz. The 24-year-old is certain that his
      renowned knockout power will carry
through into this fight and is sure he
has the strategy to beat the illusive
Mayweather, in a fight which is set to
be the future Hall of Famer’s toughest to date. “The power will definitely carry in.
Here’s the thing, 41 of those fighters
that he’s fought, none of them were
me, so somebody’s in trouble,” said a
confident Ortiz. “He can’t adjust to everything. 41 of
his fighters he’s fought the same way
every fight, every single fight, except
analysts are too blind to see that he
actually fights the same way every
fight. Now, I don’t really care what he’s got to bring, you know, he’s
      done. The moment they mentioned
Victor Ortiz vs. Mayweather, he was
      done, period!,” he said.
why is it formatted like a haiku poem? this is what happens when you cut and paste ****.

Man Manny fans are irritating!! Victor can say what he wants he only has a puncher chance just like Manny if he was to fight Floyd there no fighter out there in Welterwieght that can beat Floyd for 12 rounds the only chance a fighter has it a Lucky Ko which can happend because that is boxing!! I am not a Floyd fan but I am a boxer and a student of the game trust me when I tell you this he is a veteran and a student of the game and his conditioning is unremarkable!! Manny is good and so is Victor they are to wild and they would both pay trust me.

lol Mayweather is a huge ******* but there is no way Ortiz believes the **** hes been saying lately. I realize he has to show confidence but to say Mayweather is not that impressive or not a great fighter is just plain ridiculous. I understand people not liking Mayweathers attitude and personality, myself being one of them, but you cant deny the guys boxing ability. Dont let yourself be blinded by hate.

Well Ortiz has the perfect opportunity to prove his assertion about Floyd.

This thread is about Pac. You are one of the biggest *******s here and all you do is write anything negative of Floyd or Martinez cause they are the real threats that Pac would face.

I do agree that Floyd is not a great fighter but he is one of the best fighters of our generation.

Pac is more accomplished fighter even before he got to the WW

Good for Ortiz I like the confidence, and this is all just public hype the fight talk so really shouldn't read all that much into it and can see why he would say that.

Still if he feels that way what happens if he is wrong and Floyd can fight is he mentally tough enough to deal with that scenario. I never like it when I get a feel that a guy is not preparing for the worst possible scenario.

You know Victor is really doing what he can to sell this fight. More young guys need to pay attention to what he is doing. He is making himself more viable, win or lose.
