i think he meant definition 2. minute as in a minuscule difference.

He was much more stationary in both the Mosley and Marquez fights...he no longer has the foot speed and prefers to stand and counter. I suspect after a 16 month layoff that will be more evident. I watched the Zab Judah fight last nite again and thought Zab definitely had the blue print to beat him but lacked the energy to do it for more than 4 rounds.

This will be his 1st fight in 16 months...this will be the 5th for Ortiz. Conditioning...youth and power goes to Ortiz. I think this will be a water-downed version of Floyd...maybe an upset.

He will not be going toe-to-toe with a ****er like Ortiz. Let's not kid ourselves here. He will set traps, engage and back away like he always does. Floyd is Floyd, he's not going to suddenly start taking damage to do damage.

Just some thoughts. Floyd's legs may or may not be gone. However even in fights against SP's where we know 100% his legs weren't gone (Judah, Mitchell and Corley) he stood his ground and fought toe to toe and walked them down. That's the way he fight's SP's, and the way he would fight Ortiz if his legs are there or not.

History should tell you Mayweather will fight Ortiz aggressively.....not your perception of his legs or what comes out of his mouth.

You'd think some people here *just* started watching Boxing

                No, that can't be. Nevermind.

Floyd went toe 2 toe with Shane. I didn't remember seeing him run or use the ropes as a trap for his opponent.

minute - carries more than one meaning there champion! (as Dempsey pointed out) (if you were just being sarcastic my apologies good sir). . . minute means barely noticeable, or very, very slight. Still for Floyd that isn't enough to make a difference against opposition - his IQ and skill make up for it. Of course he's not going to be as quick as he was when he was fighting at 130 and 135 7 years ago.

Boxing is sport of millimeters and milliseconds, but Floyd is still plenty quick enough, and has plenty of dexterity and energy left in his legs to conquer.
