If Mayweather's are now starting to go, he will be losing very shortly if he keeps fighting. Good, strong legs are even more important for a good defensive based counter puncher. If you spend all your time standing in front of someone or on the ropes, eventually you'll get caught and rather than be able to move, get leverage or angles you are stuck with no movement.
All of the great defensive fighters started getting beat when they lost their legs, despite still having brilliant upper body movement. Benitez is a classic example. He had upper body movement that equaled Mayweather's definitely and when he started losing his legs and couldn't get the angles or move when he wanted he started getting trapped easily and eventually started getting caught. Even though he would be hurt, he'd still avoid any more punishment for a bit but eventually bobbing up and down and slipping in a corner gets very tiring when you can't get out.
The list of these guys that finally got beat or knocked out because their legs went is long. If his legs are going, then he's going. He should have fought Pac a couple of years ago, cause when they do meet Pac will still be in great peak condition and Mayweather won't be. Bad move on their part if they do ever decide to fight him.

Once the legs go, you go, no matter how good your upper body movement is. That's why Toney stayed surprisingly good for so long even as a fat heavyweight. His legs were good for a long time despite his weight. It's only in the last few years that they've really gone and he is now shot to ****e.

On top of all that, I would love to see Money May go toe-to-toe against Manny LOL. I hope he will!

but i do think he doesn't have QUITE the reflexes he had 3-4 years ago. but still, were talking just a minute difference. he's definitely still in his prime.
In that case Floyds getting knocked out.
