Is Floyd in a win win situation?

There is the one obvious possible downside for Floyd, Ortiz could take his "0". If Floyd wins, he beat a younger, stronger fighter, and that would be awesome. If Floyd loses, he lost to a younger stronger fighter, and you can take nothing away from him for taking the challenge. Incedentally, I am critical of Floyd, in the case of him choosing to fight Ortiz, my hat is off to Floyd. I hope we see a hell of a fight.

I wouldnt call it a 'win-win' ... if he loses he loses alot.. Ortiz isnt exacly viewed in the same league as mayweather. Although it is impressive floyd would choose a young, hungry, lion.

      No.

Floyd is always in a lose/lose situation.

If he wins, everyone will say Victor Ortiz wasn't *****. If he loses, obvious.

Floyd can fight and destroy Pacquiao. People will just say Pacquiao wasn't ***** above lightweight.

LOL. He's never in a win/win situation. If he wins, people hate. If he ever loses, people will hate.

          This is a joke, right?

          If anything he's in a lose/lose.

                Yeah he's in a win/win.

He's getting a massive payday against a fighter who isn't in his league and even if he loses he gets an automatic rematch for an even bigger payday.

Does Floyd have a rematch clause for this fight?
