Lee incorparated boxing techniques into his style.

Ali did not invent footwork in boxing.

Lee also boxed and fought some amateur fights. He KOed a 3 time British champ.

Lee tried to learn from all combat disciplines, boxing was just one of them.

it would be interesting if bruce is still alive to see what he can contribute to mixed martial arts. i always wonder if bruce is really a master at what he does.

I always thought it was common knowledge that Lee incorperated boxing into his fighting style, and boxing does use excellent footwork.

All his students were winning all competitions back in the late 60s early 70s.

You can argue on how Lee himself would perform in either Boxing or MMA at the highest levels, but his ideas and teachings are solid.

                Self-evident actually.

Boxers themselves don't owe much to Bruce, but MMA, all of MMA owes everything to Bruce Lee. Opening scene of 'Enter the Dragon' shows it all.

I got news for ye all: Ali copied many of his moves from Luis Manuel Rodriguez! If ya don't believe it, ask Angelo Dundee!
