When this fight was first signed I thrashed it like there was no tomorrow and vowed I wouldn't pay for it. Now, I still won't pay for it but will definitely watch it, as I'm starting to think Ortiz really has a shot a beating Mayweather. Mayweather is the biggest pick-and-chooser in boxing and always chooses correctly; however, no one can escaped father-time. And the fact that Floyd has only fought twice in the past 2 1/2 years may be his undoing. We'll see when it's all said and done.

I trashed this fight even when it was a rumour, i said at the time that this was cherrypicking at its highest by Mayweather but to be honest the more i look at it the more i thought its wasnt a bad match up.

I anybody believes for one seecond that Ortiz doesnt worship Mayweather then you're missing. I mean at the first presser he was hopping in family photos with the kids. It almost looks like Floyd told him to beef up the **** talking.

I'm a neutral on this one. I wouldn't mind seeing either fighter win for various reasons. I just hope that Ortiz doesn't believe all the things he's saying. Its good to be confident but not overconfident. If he thinks he is gonna walk through an old Mayweather he better be careful because this is boxing and anything can happen. If he is to win I think he needs to be aggressive and fight like he did against Berto. I've always felt that he performs at his best when he is "Vicious", its when he tries to be cute and actually box that he has trouble. For Floyd to win he just needs to turn up, but if he's lost a step due to ring rust, age or bad conditioning he can easily lose this fight. I hope its competitive.
