To be honest with you I completely agree with your assessment on the jab. I think a good consistent jab is absolutely one of the keys to beating Mayweather, but at the end of the day Ortiz simply doesn't have that, so asking a fighter to do something he is not good at against the stiffest test of his career is essentially aimless. Ortiz has to play to his strengths and the jab is not one of them, and certainly neither is composure.

I think Ortiz's best bet is to try to go to Mayweather's body very hard early in the fight, and then hope to land something big upstairs if Mayweather starts to compensate.

It's one thing to throw a jab, and another to make it work effective consistently. In his last three fights, Ortiz has connected just seven percent of his jabs. I hope he prove me wrong, but his jabs aren't going to be effective at all.

Beware of Vicious Victor, Floyd. His spars with Pac were impressive so youd better bewarde.

I think if victor gives him hell but floyd still wins, he might feel hes not ready for Pac. If he then is given hell by Khan, Floyd might be even more reluctant to fight pac.
