There are some dumb choices here. Chavez won his fights mostly through his amazing skill and expertise at infighting and closing off the ring.

Duran also beat Leonard because of skill. Leonard fought his ass off that night, and it was Duran's right hand counter, defense and infighting that won him the Leonard fight, since Leonard had most the physical advantages.

Also one punch KOs do not count as winning on pure will.

Yeah Duran did not win on pure will, he might be more talented than Leonard.
And Barkley had to go through hell to get that one punch KO. His face was ****ed and he was getting murdered to the body.

If that doesnt count as will I dont know what does.

Hence the question mark. A lot of Leonard fans on here who might beg to differ. It's not how I see it, but I figured it's open to debate.

Before I watched that fight after all I read about it, I thought it was a one punch turnaround KO, but when I watched it I was surprise it was a one sided beatdown in favor of Douglas. Good choice.

Not sure if it really fits the description but how about Tiger-Giardello 4?

Of course Tiger's win wasn't solely based off 'will' per se but his ability to get inside and rough him up was his key to getting the victory and he really put a beating on him at times on the inside. And 'will' was part of that and without that could he have beaten the skilled and stellar counter puncher Giardello? I'm not sure.

Tiger was the first person that came to my head when I read 'will' which is why I used the example.
