On a side note, gamboa never even won his WBA title, he won a interim belt and then tehy kept upgrading him, to regular, superduper,ect,ect,ect.

Boxing is a Joke

The more I read articles about this sanctioning bodies and their belts the more i lose interest in boxing. The champion should be aloud to hold on the belt until someone takes it from them or the boxer retire. Cmon' Manny retire already so that i could stop following this joke of a sport

I don't blame you for feeling the way you do. You're just one of the many soon-to-be former fans that are turned off by the nonsense that goes on in boxing. Despite all the ridiculousness that goes on in the sport, most of us are hooked on watching the great athletes and the memorable fights they produce.
