Klitschko's are very very smart guys. PhD, avid Chess Players. The more that they see you fight the more flaws they see in your game plan. They already have a strategy on Helenius, they keep notes of anyone coming up that might poses a challenge.

You do what Pirog did to Jacobs, come in with a style that is WTF?.

If they keep progressing Helenius against mid-level competition you know the Klitschko's have tape on every single fighter and they are huge Boxing fans. You know they were watching Saturday. They already know how to beat him right now. Why give them opportunity to gather even more tape on you? Thats suicide.

Helenius doesnt have the same technical abilities as Wlad, I doubt at this stage of his career he can improve that. Thats why everyone is losing to them. They think okay let me go slowly and when Im ready Ill fight a Klitschko. What happens? Nobody ever wins a round.

But if you put Helenius with just 15 fights into the ring with Wlad it might be a huge problem because they wont have enough data on Helenius to figure out ALL his flaws and Helenius can come in with a new crazy style or technique to confuse Wlad/Vitali.

I doubt if you advance him over 5-6 fights and when he is at 23-0 or 24-0 he will be able to change his style when fighting a Klitschko

You gotta do something they wont expect, like in chess, they are 10 steps ahead, so gotta throw a curv-ball.
I'll take experience over a surprise factor because as you said, the Klitschko brothers are true professionals and will prepare for everyone from the worst challengers to the best as they've shown in the past.

Right now the surprise factor of Helenius fighting a Klitschko will be far greater than Klitschko fighting a Helenius. Besides, it's not as if Helenius is an unknown, his fights are out there and his punching power is well known.

The big factor for Helenius is his power and that's one attribute that will remain throughout his career. Let him grow as a fighter a little more and let the Klitschko brothers possibly lose a step, and we will have a fight on our hands. I think the scenario of Helenius beating either of the Klitschko brother is wishful thinking at this stage though. The most I hope for him is a world title shot where he performs valiantly, win or lose.

i agree with others here helenius could have a better chance then others against the k bro's. altho i think his trainer uli is quite limited in his approach. in a perfect world helenius should drop spuds uli(he ruined abraham when abe was made to fight real contenders) and get atlas to take over.

after watching povetkin and helenius on same card it was obvious who looks the stronger.
it was disturbing to me to see povetkins lack of heart against chagaev.

Helenius reminds me of Gerry Cooney. Destroying older used up fighters like Liakhovic and Brewster. He has a long way to go before they shove a Klitschko fight down our throat.

Helenius was behind in the Peter fight, I had it 3 to 1 for Peter after 4. Sam became tired and lost all the rounds from 5 onward.

Wlad won every minute of every round against a lighter, more physically fit Peter.

I had Helenius behind in the Lyakhovich fight (I had it 5 rounds to 1 with 1 round even after 7). His power bailed him out, as he badly hurt Sergei in the 8th and then stopped him in the 9th.

Robert is improving with every fight and has great potential, but he's not on Wlad's level at this time.

              No, he really is not.

              His power bailed him out.

Maybe he can hope for Wlad to slow down but I can't see Wlad staying in the game for the length of time it would take for Helenius to have a real chance of beating Wlad.
