I respectfully disagree... Cotto has shown to be a very tough customer for anyone but an accused plaster cheater and arguably the greatest fighter of all time.

I honestly believe Cotto beats Martinez at 150. He is not as dumb as Williams is and Cotto knows how to pick his shots. Let's not also forget about the age difference... Martinez might not have a long "prime", he's 36 years old.

Cotto is 30 and people treat him like he's 38. The reason doesn't look like he's in his prime or near it or like he doesn't have much left is because he fights EVERYONE, he fights the toughest fighters out there - he never decided to go the fabricated undefeated route and he could have. Cotto will never look dominating against anyone because he always fights the toughest fighters out there.

A valiant career and only 2 losses... one is still in question and the other one came at the hands of none other than Manny Pacquiao himself.

People sleep on Cotto too much.

No way Cotto beats Martinez at this point. Martinez has every single advantage in that fight.

He would not be too effective at 150.. I would even try to drain him to 147.

Come on man, another catch weight? You don't get tired of that BS? I like to see fighters fighting each other at their best.

They should make titles for catchweight fights..and put a pu$$y on there because someone wasn't man enough to go for the actual weight. You know it's one thing to make a great fight with amazing fighters but at their best. Just say you can't pass this weight I will stay at my weight..it would be interesting. Like a Jr Welter against a Welter or a JMW against a MW. They need to actually do away with a lot of these classes. How bout jsut a welterweight or middleweight. Forget the split.
