By that I mean Hopkins will use footwork and right hands to bust Chad up and frustrate him into chasing him around the ring which will play right into Hopkins hands. Dawson thinks he is the bigger stronger guy but I think Hopkins will quickly show him that is not the case and once he gets Dawson hurt it will be a new ball game. Hopkins by stoppage in 10.

Since this is a BHOP thread I will elaborate. Hopkins is already planning on winning this with experience and skills. Dawson has already stated he thinks he can win on his perceived physical and athletic advantages, sound familiar? This one will be ugly cause I think BHOP will consider himself the underdog and that this fight could put the icing on the cake for him. Hey, its boxing tho and both guys are amazingly talented so who knows....

Not correct that Dawson can't be handled in similar fashion. Maybe not as dominant, but still.

Yes Dawson did dominate Gardner on the scorecards. But I remember that fight, and remember thinking, "this Undefeated guy looks like crap chasing Gardner around the ring, if Gardner only had more fire power he could outbox him the way he is dancing around him." Of course I started respecting Dawson's skill a little more after that, watching him dismantle guys like ERIC HARDING and coming back from a knockdown to dominate Thomas Adamek. But still, I'm confident that he can't deal with movement. And Hopkins is pretty good fighter while moving.

Dawson can deal with any boxer, his fight against Pascal was more of an off-night. Dawson even admitted that didn't take the fight seriously and only trained for four weeks. I don't know what was going in Dawson's mind that night but you can tell he wasn't fighting at his best. One of the key factors in boxing is motivation, and Dawson is definitely motivated to beat Hopkins.

Hopkins can try to give Dawson angles and beat Dawson to the punch, but with his speed and age, it's going to be difficult. Hopkins does have a chance, imo the fight is 50-50.

One thing is for certain Hopkins will get hit, and he will get hit a lot, and once Dawson's lands that right hook, Hopkins will get hurt.
