When I heard Victor Ortiz surfs I became his fan. I have been surfing since I was a kid and I have respect for other surfers, the ***** ain't easy. BTW I surfed yesterday and today and it was ****ing awesome...thank you hurricane Irene!

only people who are really into surfing truly understand the importance of it - it's a lifestyle. . . when it's just you and the ocean, nature at it's fiercest and most pure, nothing in the world is better. . . it's just like working out and exercising - get ur mind off everything. im not a great surfer, but ive been into it for a while, and will continue to surf until i die. . . boxing and surfing and law = my life. . . .

big wave riding takes more balls than stepping in the ring with a 1986 mike tyson. . . or an early 2000's vitali klitschko.

lol im sure ortiz isn't riding anything more than maybe the occasional 12 footer, but still. . . and ive never rode anything bigger than maybe a 10 footer. . .
