I don't think anyone could KO Chagaev out (Wlad RTD-ed him but did not KO him). And I would not call him tentative, but I have questions about his defense. I must say though that his defense improved a lot in the last fight, and he exhibited a good variety of punches.
records can be very deceiving. povetkin is feather fisted for sure. he can knock out bums because they are so outclassed but against elite fighters he has no power. none. helnieus can knock out contenders in devastating fashion.

Maybe so, and the time will separate them apart better.

But think about it: Helenius did not really KO Brewster... they just stopped the fight... Helenius floored Sam Peter (but even feather-fisted Jamil McCline did)... Helenius KO-ed Liakhovich... that never had a great chin...

People are so inlove with Helenius but ignore the fact that he looked unimpressive against both Samuel peters and Liakhovich before the KO's. He actually was losing on the scorecards against Peters and Liakhovich who is a 36 year old journeyman in this stage of his career with a 1 and a half year long layoff lol. Peters is a shot bum who only claim to fame was winning two controversial and close fights with a horrible out of shape James Toney and dropping Wlad. Peters had skills but he turned into a bumbling brawler who had horrible defense and relied on his chin and power to win fights. Now his chin is gone and he is old and shot and Helenius still struggled with him
