    Holyfield vs Helenius

If they fought in Helenius next fight, who do you think would win? I think Holyfield would outbox him and win a decision. I feel Helenius style fits Holyfield perfectly, a fighter who isn't all that technical and relies on power. Reminds me of Holyfield/Valuev(tho Valuev probably punches hard because he is so big).

The commission shouldn't sanction this fight.

I think Holyfield could get seriously injured.

Holyfield would get hurt more against Povetkin, a boxer who can box. Even if Helenius ended up KO'ing Holyfield(which I doubt it). Povetkin would land more punches overall and cause more damage if it went all 12 rounds. Don't know whats up with the love for Helenius power if his technical skills are still questionable. Sure he has the power to KO anyone, but Holyfield can make him miss and make him look foolish.

I absolutely agree. In fact I just made this post in another thread.

Either way, Holyfield would get hurt. The commission shouldn't approve this. Evander still has descent speech.

I don't want him to sound like Norris, Taylor, Toney, Ali, or any other damaged boxer for that matter.

Holyfield knows how to not lose convincingly and get close decision losses which is why he is able to keep fighting and telling himself he still has something left. He needs to be brutally KTFO before he will stop. Helenius decapitating him is the humane thing to do.

Are you ****ing kidding me? Povetkin is a feather fisted hw who's tentative and afraid to let his hands go. Helenius on the other fist is a big puncher who's not afraid to mix it up with his opponents and is a great finisher....

Povetkin and Helenius have the same KO ratio - 68%, so I would not call Povetkin feather-feasted, but I agree that Helenius's one-time punch is much stronger. I don't think anyone could KO Chagaev out (Wlad RTD-ed him but did not KO him). And I would not call him tentative, but I have questions about his defense. I must say though that his defense improved a lot in the last fight, and he exhibited a good variety of punches.
