Holyfield was once a great boxer and by most, considered a legend, but it is over for him now. Honestly, if he got in the ring with a journeyman at this point I wouldn’t be overly confident in his ability to win the fight, and that is sad for me.
I always said that I would never tell another man how he should live his life as long as he wasn’t hurting himself or others. Because of that I can confidently say Holyfield should stop boxing. He is risking serious (and permanent) brain injury and is hurting the reputation of this great sport and the individuals that compete in it. On the same note, I also say shame on the money scavengers that are picking at the bones of what is essentially now a dead career.
