Holyfield was once a great boxer and by most, considered a legend, but it is over for him now. Honestly, if he got in the ring with a journeyman at this point I wouldn’t be overly confident in his ability to win the fight, and that is sad for me.

I always said that I would never tell another man how he should live his life as long as he wasn’t hurting himself or others. Because of that I can confidently say Holyfield should stop boxing. He is risking serious (and permanent) brain injury and is hurting the reputation of this great sport and the individuals that compete in it. On the same note, I also say shame on the money scavengers that are picking at the bones of what is essentially now a dead career.

If Wlad has any clout with the WBA, which he should considering he's the legitimate champ and, I assume, pays a fairly hefty sanctioning fee, then he should force them to make Povetkin his mandatory. This situation is really intolerable.

For Evander's sake I hope he loses this. Getting that WBA belt might be his ticket to a Klitschko fight and I don't want to see a true legend permanently damaged (or worse) in the ring.

If evander fights povetkin and wins he will give either klitchko ahell of a problem not like that loudmouth haye evander will press and mix it up on the inside.

              Povetkin would destroy Holyfield.

Holyfield has already been schooled by two Povetkin victims (Byrd and Donald) and he has lost to several Klitschko victims.

Lets look at some of Holyfield's losses and close fights:

              - schooled by Chris Byrd, who was destroyed twice by Wlad and dominated by Vitali.

              - schooled by Larry Donald, who was knocked down 4 times and KTFO by Vitali (was the only man to knockdown and KO Donald).

              - dominated by Sultan Ibragimov, who was dominated by Wlad.

              - drew and lost to John Ruiz, who was destroyed by Haye, who was dominated by Wlad.

              - KTFO by James Toney, who was knocked down, badly hurt many times and dominated by Sam Peter, who was destroyed and ruined by both Klitschkos.

              - beaten twice by Lennox Lewis, who was dominated and retired by Vitali.

              - struggled and barely beat Ray Mercer, who was annihilated by Wlad (was the first man to knockdown and KO Mercer).

              - struggled and barely beat Vaughn Bean, who was destroyed by Vitali (was the only man to KO Bean).

              - beaten twice by overrated one hit wonder human punching bag Rid**** Bowe, who was totally outclassed, exposed and destroyed twice by Andrew Golota, who was KTFO in the 1st round by 3 Klitschko victims (Brewster, Austin, Lewis) and was destroyed by future Klitschko victim Tomasz Adamek.

sauerland is known for milking it with his heavyweight champions...valuev defended against owen beck & monte barrett when there was better opponents out there.if the WBA goes through with rahman being the mandatory then i see sauerland putting sasha in vs rahman, holyfield & then either wlad or another mandatory.they could milk this for awhile...its ****** but could happen...it wouldn't suprise me to see luan krasniqi get a title shot being popular in germany.i will put david haye & jean marc mormeck in there too...mormeck is #3 i think & could present a big payday if the fight is in france...

Holyfield was the first man to knock down Ray Mercer so get your facts straight on that.... if we were to use the common opponent theme.. eventually we would get Lennox's mom or unborn children to have beaten Holy as well. Let's stick to title trinkets.. much more simpler!
