What does that mean? Nothing. I like Adamek, but he was only a titlist (in other words a contender) at 175, only fought 2 decent fighters at cruiser but earned the rightful championship, and beaten only 1 top 10 heavyweight. Even if he did beat Vitaly (and he won't) that just means he beat another contender and a 40 year old one at that. Adamek is a great guy and fun to watch but none of that makes him a HOF fighter or a top 10 p4p fighter today. And if that is the case than we might as well enshrine Chad Dawson if he beats Hopkins and retires. He would have wins over Hop, Adamek, Johnson and Tarver. I don't hear anyone saying he should be in the hall if he gets this win and hopkins is currently ranked p4p where as V isn't.
