Come on ffs.. my Dad cared for me a far lot more then SR ever did for Floyd.. but when he slapped me when i was 19 i blasted him out with a single punch.. Was i proud of it? hell no but things happen and get heated especially with Family. If you can call what SR has done to Floyd real Family.. my Dad sure as hell never used me as a shield to protect himself from being shot

this is what im saying. the guys making these comments that they wouldnt talk to their father liek that must have had a much better relationship with them b.c my dad wasnt there for us emotionally nor physically. he sent money b.c he was ordered to pay child support

and as i got older he still wanted to talk to me like i was a kid and disrespect me as a man. you can only take so much **** from another man, i dont care if hes your father or not.

Respect is earned, not given. my dad and i got into a heated argument about the past, he started talkign about how he would beat my ass and the only thing that saved me from not ****ing him up was the fact that he never showed up.

It looked like the arguement started with Sr and Jr playing around about who had the better female fighter. Then it escalated from there.

Now, I will say this. Sr demoted himself as a parent a long time ago. He tries to be Floyds friend over being a parent. Maybe that's why Floyd feels like he can talk to his dad whatever way he wants. Jr feels like he's talking to one of his peers and not his father.

I wouldn't necessarily blame Jr for this mentality. Especially since Sr planted the "I'm your friend" seed in Jr's head. But still as an adult, you have to be able to draw the line.

I've watched this thing , like, ten times now. And the more I watch, the more I blame Senior for escalating.

Now, keep in mind that I would NEVER talk to my dad that way, and I think PBF should have shut up, walked away, and had somebody call his dad to ask him not to come to the gym for the duration of camp.

me too. i think you should start a thread and bring this to everyones attention. write everything that was said so people will open their eyes to what really happened rather than just blaming Jr and feeling sorry for Sr

and floyd always credits his dad for that. fact is. floyd said trainer training camps run fine the way the are then Sr starting ****ting on that, then Sr started ****ting on Roger, Then Sr ****ted on the gym and their teams home, even threaating to put his hands on floyd.

That's true.

Sr does need to respect his son as a man and the man Jr has become. No doubting that.

Who am I, but me personally, Floyd should've talked about the root of the problem first. Meaning, what's really been bothering him as a kid that Sr has done and is still doing. I didn't see that here.

My father was verbally and physically abusive. For example, I remember getting smacked in the back of the head as a kid because I beat him in a video game. But as I got older, I was able to express my feelings about what he's done that's disturbed me for so long. I'm not saying everyone should handle things like me, that's just my point of view.

What did Sr say so terrible? hes been acting and saying the same **** for Floyds last 3 or 4 camps.. "Im the best trainer, I started this" etc etc.. Which is all true I might add.. I guess EGOs clashing, but at the same time Floyd acting like a little kid wasnt a good look. His pops didnt mean any ill will, Im sure Floyd put extras on it for the cameras tho.. Sr didnt come off as disrespectful to Roger or Jrs gym. Jr was the one out of line imo.. Like I said, if you have that much pinned up hatred for your dad(whos the reason youre rich) then dont let him in the gym in the first place.
