I've never been much of a FMJ fan, but, as ugly and disrespectful as Junior was to the old man, it is pretty clear to me the the old man is the problem in that family. Floyd may be infamously arrogant himself, but he PALES in comparison to the old man. Senior is the most insufferable megalomaniac that I have ever seen. He's a near 60 year old man jumping up and down ranting about how he created the universe and demanding that everybody bow down in homage every time he passes through. His ego won't allow him to give or even share any credit whatsover with anyone else; not even to the guy who truly made the family name. TBH, I actually feel bad for Floyd for having to deal with that ****head his entire life. The most interesting thing about the whole event was how Roger Mayweather, normally an incoherent crazed crackhead, came out looking like the most mature guy in the gym.
His big brother couldn't get a title his whole life but Roger's been there, done that. Roger knows how it is to be a champ and deal with the media ad the attention to some extent.
Senior has no idea about that. He's just a jealous old man.Comment

I've watched this thing , like, ten times now. And the more I watch, the more I blame Senior for escalating.
Now, keep in mind that I would NEVER talk to my dad that way, and I think PBF should have shut up, walked away, and had somebody call his dad to ask him not to come to the gym for the duration of camp.
But Senior escalated it.Comment

Althought I am a fan of FMJ, I am not a fan of disrespecting your father especially on national television. No matter what a parent has done, right or wrong, there should always be a level a respect you have for them. This really made me sad watching this because this is becoming a problem in not just the Mayweather family, but all over.
I hope they resolve their issues within their family. No matter how much fortune, fame, and wins he gets from his career in boxing. He still is Floyd Mayweather Jr. Meaning, that is the man who brought him in this world. If there was something to happen to his father today, he will regret this moment and regret even more that the world witnessed this...Comment

He called PBF a "punk" first.

Senior is accustomed to being able to intimidate people. He intimidates the hell outta Freddie Roach. Freddie Roach is PETRIFIED of Senior.
But PBF isn't having any of that , and then Senior doesn't know how to deal with his own son on a "man level".Comment

In fact, he WAS walking away, but FMS was following with his mouth.
PBF just needs to treat Senior like an elderly parent with dementia or Alzheimer's. Ignore the inappropriate comments and feel empathy, not hostility.
Junior's anger stems from how his mom was treated.Comment
