    SRL had alot of heart.

If you go back and watch the first Duran fight, you will see them go toe to toe.

In the Hagler fight SRL had to dig down and fight off the ropes with those round stealing flurries.
He didn't run in that fight. He boxed.

The second Leonard vs Hearns fight was an epic toe to toe battle.
Watched it again yesterday on youtube.

it's fine if Ortiz is so confident and dismissive of PBF -- but for him to have the nerve to say that he's "not impressed' with what Mayweather has done in his career is ridiculous! -- what the hell has Ortiz accomplished in comparison? -- people can hate PBF all they want and have some issues with him as a fighter BUT it's a matter or record that he's a Hall of Fame level guy who dominated during his time -- with a couple of exceptions, he's never even come close to losing a fight and in fact you could count the number of ROUNDS that he's lost on two hands during his long career -- I'm no fan of PBF myself and almost always root against him but I still have to give him his due

You'll never see anything like that in any of Floyd's fights. That's why the term "overrated" comes easily to mind.

Ask any fighter and they would tell you that they would love to have Floyds defence and skill set.

With all do respect to those legends in the sport...............but they all have lost or have been knocked out.

The name of the game is hit and not get hit.
Alot of fighters died in the ring.
Alot of fighters can't talk and suffer from brain damage.
Ali and Roach suffer from parkinson's because of taking punishment.

Give me Floyds Defence any day.

Leonard is GREAT even though I wasn't a FAN, Leonard Legacy is already set so this is not even a debate about that...I was just pointing out that he DIDN'T go Toe To Toe with Hagler and he wasn't going Toe To Toe with Duran before Duran quit

Made his glove touch the canvas, YES!!!....On his ass, NO!!! All of the early rounds, only if ur counting rounds 1 and 2 as early...maybe 3!!!

Don't exaggerate bro...u clowns always take a situation dealing with Floyd that should be a 6 or 7 and turn it into a 10 or 11. Wild and active imaginations I tell ya.....

Floyd would rather clinch, run, move around than engage in a battle because he knew he'd go down if he does. This is actually usual in any contact sport. Khan would be crazy to stand toe to toe with Maidana, for example, or Prescott. Or Roy Jones with Tarver or Ruiz. In fact, most of RJ's fights didn't have epic battles in them as opposed to boxing legends like SRL's. Ortiz may well be the Tarver in Floyd's boxing career.
