i think wilder is a nice prospect. who's his trainer? if there's a guy out there for him to get trained by, its steward. he's got some really skinny legs though.

He should train with steward and spar with the klitschko bros. He would learn a lot.

To all the people hating on Wilder:

You guys realize he's three years younger than Olympic Gold Medalist Rakhim Chakhkiev, whom he has a W over an an amateur, and they went pro within a year of each other?

What's the three-year older Chakhkiev doing now? Fighting bums, just like Wilder is. His last opponent was 11-16-1.

These guys are young and have a lot of skills. Their handlers know a lot more about when to move a fighter up than any of us do, give them time and we'll see them in the big leagues. Hopefully not until they're ready.

I have to admit that I like this guy based on a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with his boxing skills. Here is a guy who hadn’t been in boxing very long and yet amazingly goes on to not only become an Olympian, but also a medallist! He also seems to be a legitimately nice guy who is fan friendly and also someone you want to root for because of his family situation. Plus, it’s nice to see a heavyweight who is actually in shape.

With all of that said, he is extremely raw and has a long way to go before he can be considered a serious contender and thus the slow path both he and his handlers are taking makes a lot of sense. Will he ever get there? I don’t know, to be honest the last time I seen him (which, admittedly, was a long time ago) he looked very awkward in the ring. But I’m rooting for him.

Dangerous as in thier heavyweights. Anytime you get a Grown man weighing anywhere between 200 and 260 pounds punching you on your chin and to your body its a diffrent world. The klitscho brosdon't get the respect because they fight scared for such big men. They also got it easy because there is no current ranked beast in the heavies. All the top heavies are either too little or too fat, no discipline , no drive for greatness. The next era coming up will change this. The giant Klitscho bros are decent boxers, the eldest being the the best in my book. The youngest bro is a giant coward, everytime he has been tested he failed by knockout. The oldest bro got his ass handed to him by an old fat over the hill lennox lewis. This let me know where the Klitscho bro stood after watching that fight. With in the next 5 years the heavyweight division will be reborn with a new line of super heavyweights fighting for the crown. The Klitscho bros will be defeated and forgotten and no one will ever miss them.
