  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Stops Dominique Alexander in Two

Heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (18-0, 18KOs) continued his unbeaten streak against overwhelmed opponents. Wilder's right hand found Dominique Alexander (20-13-1, 9KOs) in the second round to score a TKO win at Water Oaks Farm Arena in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Wilder peppered Alexander with a number of jabs in the first round, and began to let his hands go in the second. At the start of the second, he dropped Alexander who managed to beat the count. But Wilder finished him off a moment later with a hard right.

OMG, Deontay Wilder beat the great Dominque Alexander in 2 rounds! Woah, it must have been hagler/hearns type of war!

This fight was so big that I bet it was on hbo, showtime, espn. I mean I bet one of those networks picked up this great fight.

You guys are some super trolls and haters.

Nobody is hyping Wilder, we know he is a prospect fighting cans.

His handlers are bringing him along slowly as they should.

He has some raw physical gifts, but needs to pack on some muscle, and hook up with a good trainer to become a better boxer.

I bet you guys are some huge Bute fans though, just look at the great competition he has faced lol.

Wilder is garbage. He has only fought bums, 18 fights, 18 tomato cans. He is just another overprotected American hypejob who will get exposed and KO'd when he steps up and faces someone with a pulse.

He recently got knocked down and badly hurt by Harold Sconiers.

Here's a video of the glass chinned Wilder is getting KTFO by Russian cruiserweight Evgeny Romanov...KO is at 1:50

The Russians dominated the Americans in every weight class in the tournament.

He should keep fighting bums for another year or so, and then start stepping up in competition.

Helenius has 15 an already fought 3 world champions, this is why I call a true porspect.

Wilder entered with a record of 18-0, Alexander get ktfo 7 times in his last 10 fights, they should not allowed that type of fights.

People have different learning curves, while Wilder seems to be fast he seems a little skinny to me at HW.

Plus I'm not convinced of his stamina, and ring IQ. His handlers need to answer these questions before rushing his accent.
