Agreed. But just like his father, Floyd is very hard headed and sometimes recognizes things to late, genius in the ring and boxing related things, not out of it.

That brings up an interesting point, and I think is the REAL crux of the problem. Not how Floyd was treated himself, but what he saw his mother go through being alone.

If you think back to previous 24/7's and to the FightHype reality show, Floyd is EXTREMELY tender towards his mother. He talks about her all the time.

Seeing her suffer is, I believe, the source of the animosity towards his father.
peopel forget that the bad boy world champ boxer who ****s people up is human and is pretty insecure...

        • I can't truely comment on someones personal lives because I haven't lived in their shoes, but it seems to be some deep seeded animosity on both sides of this unhealthy relationship.

Seems like Floyd Sr. wants to live his dreams and aspiration as a boxer through Jr. Also wants to prove that he MADE Floyd by training boxers to beat him and belittle Roger's achievements as a trainer at times because in his mind I think he really thinks he's more important to Jr's success than Roger.

Floyd Jr. on the other hands seems to still have some animosity towards Sr. for his childhood and what he put his mother through. Also that his dad doesn't give him enough credit.

Whatever it may be I won't judge either of them because that's their personal problems that they have to deal with. Shame that it has to get aired out for everyone to see but it does make for good television.

            • I hope Floyd won't experience what he did to his dad. As they say, Karma's a bitch.

*** you Floyd, I hope your sons and daughters do the same thing you did to your dad.

Children (boys) who witness domestic abuse growing up generally do the same when they are older. Not surprised Floyd has physically lashed out at women before.

                  1. He's not "a fighter" he's an ambassador for the sport.
                  2. How many people won't care anymore for him or even boxing in general ?
                  3. If you hate your father that much, you confront him in private, not in a tv show.
                  4. I can't show that to my 11 years old son, sad because i've been boxing for 25 years now, and my son loves that sport. Tomorow, he will ask me for that ****... What do i tell him ? It's ok son, you can talk to me like that !

Is it bad enough for you.

You are so daft and you can't read on top of that. The hell was "nuthugging" at in my post? You Manny fans need to quit thinking about gay crap 24/7 and get more and stop posting here all day.
