Byrd tried to box Wlad and lost pretty much every round, he got put on his arse a few times and by the end of the fight looked a beaten up mess.

    The scores read: 120-106 - 119-107 - 118-108

Byrd is going to need to do a little bit more than just "box" Wlad if the pair meet again.

Wlad is all hype... Then what does that make Chris Byrd?

Both are hype. But at least Byrd has balls. Byrds fighting people much bigger than he is. And Wlad is fighting people much smaller than him scared! Look at the Peter fight. Thats a 30 year old man fighting like that.

Okay, final score. When I actually sat down and scored the thing it wasn't as close as it appeared on casual watch. The middle of the fight is by far the best for Byrd. I still had it 39-37 for Wlad, but 6 & 7 were pretty close (the difference is you hear the thud of Wlad against the feather tap of Byrd).

However, round eight for most of it Byrd is sticking it to him a fair bit. You can see Wlad thinking "I vant to be vurld champion, yu know, but I errr... errr.... am knackered." He's holding on for his second wind while a half-blind Byrd is hanging in there.

In all I had it 117-109 Wlad, but if Byrd had upped his workrate just a touch, sprinkled on a little Vegas magic dust (I hear De La Hoya had a big supply when he beat Felix Sturm) and pray for the best... a points win and retain of the title is possible... just about.

Best round? The fourth, if only because that's where I took my "Chris Byrd radio" avatar from.

Byrd doesn't even come close to having one.

That makes it a boxing match, and Wlad is bigger, stronger, just as fast, has the reach, and is a better boxer.

            Horrible match up for Byrd.

He has little to no chance.
            I am pleasantly surprised

If I remember correctly... Didn't Wlad beat Sam Peter convincingly???

Being as big as Wlad is, doesn't necessarily give you all the advantages... Mike Tyson would tell you all about that!

And what does his age have to do with the way he's fighting?

                    You remembered incorrectly.

The "boxer" won by three points.

and you're still on a level of a degenerate 5 year old who can't take a compliment without a verbal outburst
