the mexican fans know who canelo is,which is my point,they will buy the ppv...thats my whole point here....this mayweather/ortiz fight will do good,but nobody will talk about the undercard and how much help it did to the purchases,,canelo and morales will help a lot.

Fact #1: Mexicans ARE the best boxing fans in the US, and having POPULAR mexican fighters on a broadcast will subsequently increase sales (period). Fact #2: Floyd Mayweather, is the PPV KING (period).

It will help! Mayweather is smart. He will put a good card so people pay to see the undercard and himself.

I find it quite interesting but also obvious as to why at this point. Fighthype is a true threat to the boxing media mafia that has existed for the last 10 years at least. And commentators like Gus Johnson from Showtime are also a major threat to the boxing media mafia. Fighthype actually tries to report the facts and Johnson actually celebrates the sweet science of boxing instead of always giving a slanted view to the audience of the notion that an exciting fight/fighter is a brawl/brawler. What is really so weird is how Skip Bayless from ESPN (Who seems to have some weird blood lust for Mayweather) and his team of flunkies keep asking "Why won't Floyd fight Pacquiao" and keep coming up with all of these wild theories that they either formulated in their own minds or they overheard someone at their local bar say. But they never mention the drug testing situation. They act as if it doesn't even exist. Its one thing to say that you don't believe Mayweather's reasoning is legit and another thing to ignore the issue completely. Its almost as if they made some kind of agreement with someone in Pacquiao's camp (Bob Arum) or have been given orders from high up in the company to never mention the drug testing when they pose the obviously disingenuous question of "why won't Floyd Mayweather fight Pacquiao?". Because they know that the question could be easily answered with another question. "Why won't Manny Pacquiao take the random blood tests?" But its still quite interesting to me that they totally ignore the issue instead of just simply stating how they feel about it.

Of course Arum has people in ESPN!!! Why do you think they totally ignore facts surrounding why the fight didnt happen? They would probably get fired if they dont ignore the fact that the fight hasnt happen because Pacquiao reject a drug test, they have to save their jobs too i dont blame them, Arum is a powerful man with people in high up places.
