Come on man, let's be real. No one knew who Canelo was back then and no one (other than boxing junkies) knows who ponce de leon is now. De Leon, an ok fighter, but wont sell PPVs. I agree with you about mexicans being the best fight fans, but they didn't make floyd the ppv king. Listen, I think Sergio Martinez is the best fighter PpP, but floyd is definitely the king of ppv. The numbers don't lie. I love boxing more than the fighters and loyalty is for the fight game. I'm just being an honest fight fan.

the mexican fans know who canelo is,which is my point,they will buy the ppv...thats my whole point here....this mayweather/ortiz fight will do good,but nobody will talk about the undercard and how much help it did to the purchases,,canelo and morales will help a lot.

If no one is interested in this fight why did it sell out less than 5 minutes? The fight is three weeks away, why would anyone be talking about it? College football season kicks off next week and the last week of NFL Preseason is next week. A lot is going on in the sports world. Wait until a week before the fight starts and let's see what people are talking about? And why write an article about a fight no one is talking about?

yeah the fights less then 30 days away and i havent seen not 1 commercial on it..or anything on ESPN or any of its shows...

For the Pac/Mosley i was seeing commercials 2-3 months before LOL i got sick of it cuz i wanted to see the damn fight already..

but it is a stacked card..im gonna get it to finally see some good fights..Canelo is bringing in a couple hundred thousand people..so is Morales...and Mayweather will say he brought all the PPV buys LOL i guess canelo and morales fights avg 0 viewers LOL

and it still didn't get more buys than Mayweather vs Mosley.
