Why Ortiz had an advantage going into the Berto fight

I just got back from the gym and found out Berto was clubbing and was fornicating with women a week before the fight,my source is my trainer Lennox Blackmoore and Eddie thompson and another golden glove champion Shanell idk her last name but they were ringside in conneticut and were there a week before the fight.Berto let himself get distracted add to the fact he saw Victors fight with peterson he seriously took hin lightly.till the weigh in came and he saw how serious ortiz looked then during refs instructions ortiz gave him the deadman stare it was all wrong for berto.BUT now with floyd ortiz is facing a focused fighter whos smart and will be ready for him.

Floyds going to kill Ortiz if there's any truth that Berto didn't take the fight seriously.

berto took him so lightly he was not even trained to do basic things against a southpaw.you could see it in his face in his ring walk he took him lightly

Mehh, regardless of what led him to lose he should be responsible and serious about his career. The better man and the most prepared will come out on top.. that's what separates the greats from the good. You work hard and you get far.

Pacquiao trains hard, Marquez trains hard, Martinez trains hard, Mayweather trains hard (even though he's been accused of abusing drugs during his camp so idk), etc etc.

They prepare themselves to win, that's all there is to it. If Berto doesn't then he won't be great.

I think it was a mixture of both honestly speaking but the fact berto was out of shape made ortiz be all over him because he in fact WAS in SHAPE

Whos fault is that? Anyhow.. I tried to tell people Ortiz would win and for the obvious reason - the weighin photos. Berto had COTTON MOUTH. A lot of guys here don't box or never have so have no idea what that indicates. But his fatigue wasn't a mystery. Dude either trained too hard or barely trained at all and tried to shed a lot of weight at the last second. Either way, it's a bad sign and its him and his teams fault. They lost before the fight started. Doubt he'd ever beat a guy like ortiz anyway without knocking him out. Berto doesn't like it in close and doesnt like being tested.

If what youre saying is true, it definiteily adds up for why he appeared the way he did at teh weigh in (which no one seemed to notice or care about). But the dude was dry and cotton mouthed out this world.

Ortiz looks fresh, of course. Because he KILLED himself to make 140. The sudden burst in energy for his performance was clearly him being at a healthy weight for once.

Care to elaborate? Floyd doesn't even drink.
