I've got no problems with Vargas dropping Amir's name to get some exposure and maybe even try to get a Khan fight made. Because Amir is basically doing the same with Floyd.

However, Amir does NOT need to fight Vargas to get to Floyd. LOL.

If Mayweather says he does than he does, how many people did Khan have at his last fight? 4-5k and some change? Khan doesn't sell well in the U.S. and Vargas is gaining popularity with every KO and right behind him already, he is almost exactly where Khan was when he was 22 minus getting knocked out, also they are close in age and size and with Khan's inability to sell tickets I doubt he will be on PPV fighting Floyd anytime soon If anything a Khan-Vargas match up would be a great under card for Mayweather-Pacquiao

IF Khan was to fight again at 140 and CAN'T get Bradley I think Vargas would be a good money fight. It would have Mayweather's name all over it and it would set up a fight between Khan and Mayweather (assuming Khan wins).

I personally think that IF Khan cant get Bradley at JWW he should just move up and fight a WW even if it was Mosley or Berto. At least get a fight or two at 147 before fighting the best and displaying how EASY it is to step in the ring with him.....Is Khan punking Pac???

Then again after its all done and said it will have taken Khan 2 plus years to get in the ring with Mayweather too... at least he says it will take him X amount of years until he's ready... THEN again, Roach was qouted at one point that Pac wasnt ready for a fighter like Mayweather... Is Khan going to have the balls to test before Pac????? Khan's been on HBO 4 times and each time it had a millions plus viewers dont see whats wrong with those numbers. Yes khan is not PPV yet and is not a big draw in america but hes getting bigger fight by fight thats for sure.

And on the subject of numbers, Ortiz v Peterson drew a peak of 745,000 viewers, while on the same card Khan v Maidana had a peak of 1.17m viewers

Khan v Judah had a peak of 1.4m viewers

Khan v Malignaggi had a peak of 1.228m viewers

Khan's accumulative HBO figures are just over 3.7m viewers, with an average of over 1m viewers per fight

In fights where Khan or Ortiz have been the main event, Amir has drawn the above mentioned 3.7m, while Ortiz has drawn 2.6m
