as long as Khan isn't sharing his UK ppv bucks (like he did to Judah), then yes. An opponent will only care about the US domestic figures.
Nearly 40% of the attendance were freebies. Now, that isn't deriding his numbers. We've all seen FAR worse.
He is "on par" with the other 140ers. But not a superstar in the US. Not.

Soooo, where's this evidence of Khan being some commercially-viable superstar in the U.S.?
Khan - Judah - 1.3
khan - malignaggi - 1.4
Ortiz- Berto - 1.5
Bradley-Alexander 1.4
WOO-HOO!! Khan is a star!!!
I don't see it.
3.7m viewers in three fights for a foreign fighter with supposedly no commercial viability?? I don't know what Amir is paying his management team but they deserve a raise if you ask me

Why do we keep skating over the fact Khan makes A LOT of money in the UK? Khan makes far more money than Ortiz, this is a simple fact.
And Mayweather has already said he'd fight Khan, but changed his mind after Khan demolished Zab. So obviously, Floyd thinks its a viable fight too.
No, I don't think so. Not even the dumbest of Americans wouldn't realise money is money.
I think, people conveniently skate over this fact, because its the only way *****s arguments will make any sense.
And lets not forget, Floyd has expressed his desire to fight IN THE UK. If *****s idiotic belief that Floyd is allergic to anything not dollars was true, why would he want to fight in the UK? Money is money. And Khan makes A LOT OF IT.
Gino Ros = dumbest of Americans

I was responding to Kev, who claimed that Amir doesn't to Ortiz numbers, which isn't true

Mayweather deflected the question and said that his fighter (Jesse Vargas) had asked him to get him Khan. [Click Here To Read More]
