Also, Mayweather never used his size/power to overwelm Marquez, he just used his jab and control of range to outboxed the **** out of him.

atlas tends to be wrong in his predictions, so i'm taking his word with that fact in mind.

Normally Atlas's choise for a fight is as good as money in the bank by backing the opponent.

i agree that floyd beat jmm at any weight they fight at but at 135 i guarantee u floyd will not cruise thru marquez.

On paper I agree with Atlas, but only by a small margin. The only problem with JMM/Manny is its at a weight where most of us think JMM isn't viable at because he got basically shutout by floyd.

That's a "could be", but to me it's because it's at a weight that MannyP has shown he is a powerhouse, and as strong as a bull.

In the Marquez=Mayweather fight, Marquez was obviously fighting at an artificial weight and carrying a lot of surplus just so as not to be outweighed too much, since it was NOT his proper division. But this time, he has taken the time to build himself up scientifically, so that he will be his proper division. {I wonder will he try to go back down again to 135 by taking off solid muscle, or retire ?}. Which makes the fight all the more interesting, and should make it tougher for Pacquiao. But MannyP is a legit Welterweight, and this will be Marquez'
1st real welterweight fight. So MannyP. has to have the advantage. I don't count the Mayweather thing.

Usually teddy atlas has some good humor ,but lately he has been way-off especially when predicting fights--there is no way marquez is a more dangerous let alone dificult fight than victor ortiz, how can anyone say that a near 40 year old shot fighter is more difficult than a young lion i ortiz--come on atlas be serious.
