Will Floyd win by stoppage over Ortiz like Maidana, or by another dull decision?

because ortiz is so reckless, it's possible that wifebeater will KO ortiz late like he did hatton.

But is Floyd strong enough to hurt someone his own size like Ortiz?

      I don't think so.

Floyd wasn't able to hurt or knock down old faded Shane.

chin is a physical attribute, it doesn't fade. you either got it or not. shane is known to have a granite chin. does ortiz have it? judging from berto fight, he is vulnerable to clean hits to the chin. and floyd will deliver a lot of clean hits.

But Manny Pacquiao knocked old Shane down, and had him hurting so bad in the later rounds he wanted to quit on his stool.

If Ortiz doesnt lose hope after being outclassed throughout the fight, and keeps trying to pressure him he gets stopped. If he accepts defeat (but doesnt quit like v Maidana) and just fights to minimise punishment the he takes he lasts the full 12.

If he fights like he did against Mosley, it will be another entertaining decision.

I'm afraid Floyd has to look vulnerable and beatable before the Pacman will text a message about how he's now ready to take any test he needs to take.

Floyd appears very focused and determined in stopping this kid. In addition, I see him dropping Ortiz at some point in this fight too. Floyd is going to break this kid spirit en route to a late round stoppage; Perhaps as early as the 9th round. I believe that Golden Boy is feeding Victor to the wolves much to soon. He's only 24 years old; Give him some more time to develop. What is the rush? A humiliating defeat to Mayweather, just may very well permanently ruin this kid's confidence and career.
