There was nothing wrong with Hamed, he took very little punishment during his career and by the time, and even before, he fought Barrera he was hardly training, except to make sure of his weight. It was obvious he was only having fun in the ring, playing around, not taking it seriously. Hamed in shape, and at his best was better than Barrera by a fair bit. His hand had broken and healed but was fragile to a point where if it broke again with how hard he hits it could do irrepairable damage and decided it was better to retire than keep fighting unable to use his full potential.Comment
