I am a HUGE fan of Carl Froch. I am also British.

Carl’s recent run of fights is remarkable, and his success has been tremendous. But i think Andre Ward is a bridge too far. It’s the classic boxer vs brawler, and whilst not always exclusively so, the outcome is usually the same – the boxer comes out on top.

I think Froch’s plan to follow him and hunt him down to land that one big punch on the chin is a lacklustre plan, I can’t see him catching up with Ward.

I’m keeping everything crossed that I’m wrong, but this is a very tall order for Carl, and unless he does get to stick one on the button i think he’ll be catching flies with chopsticks all night.

You make a few mistakes in this post..1.Froch is not a brawler,he can **** but he is not a brawler..Froch is a boxer puncher who's stance is very awkward...2.Frochs plan is to make Ward come to him not the other way around..Froch believes in his boxing ability even tho many don't..This is a tough fight that can go either way imo,but don't count Froch out bro he has proven many people wrong time and time again..I don't see why this is any different...

That was a great response, and you're right, Carl is much more than a brawler, i was tarnishing him with a brush when i said that.

You are also right in saying how well he has done in upsetting the oddds previously, therefore with that in mind and in light of your reply, i'll agree. He has a good chance.

After Froch and Ward won their last fights, I was pleased for both, and glad that both were going to be facing each other in the final. Finally, as a fan I was going to witness the best fighting the best. Didn't care who was the winner of their bout. That's how I initially thought.

It's gonna be a close fight, a split decision either way. But there's a strong chance that Froch might get robbed.

froch may be a boxer punch, but when he gets in there with slick boxers he starts to brawl. it happened with jermaine, who just happened to gas at the end as usual, it happened with dirrell, and it will probably happen with ward.

boxing circles around abraham and for the most part johnson are very different things then trying to do it with ward. that being said, who knows?? maybe the judges will like aggressiveness from froch or ring generalship from ward. we'll see.
