Then that mean he would be drained at 118 right? And, if he's drained that would put him in a disadvantage no?

And, again comparing both situations. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

          GTFOH

He will be nothing more then a name hardcore fans know? OMG what a horrible thing

            Pretty funny.

Cotto stans are the biggest ones on this site to be honest.

Bottom line is he is psychically TWICE AS BIG AS HIS OPPONENTS regardless what the scales say he's doing what p-will did at welter

Yet P-Will lost at WW. But, even then if he's drained wouldn't that make him in a disadvantage?

And, we have weight-classes, not height-classes. WEIGHT-CLASSES, so to say "regardless what the SCALES say" it's a pretty ignorant statement.

Bottom line if you make the weight comfortably, you're fighting at the weight-class you belong in.

Also like Martinez, Donaire is in his 3rd weight-class.

But, unlike Martinez he was willing to fight arguably the best Bantamweight not named Donaire in Moreno. And, also has shown interest in moving up to his 4th weight-class. Something Martinez hasn't shown any. And, unlike Martinez, Donaire is not calling out Segura or Wonjongkam.

So comparing both. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

FYI Cotto, Mayweather and Pac a nowhere near my favorite fighters but it doesn't blind me that they are divisions lower than Sergio. Cotto should fight him if he beats Margarito at 154(since Martinez says he can make it). Another thing that ticks me off about Martinez is that he says that they ain't all that and yet wants to fight them.

FYI I like Martinez more than them 3 but I can see this is a ***** move a mile away.
So why would you accept Martinez coming down to 154 to fight Cotto, but b*tch about margarito coming down to 150 for Cotto?

Granted Martinez is in a better position now to fight better opponents. But, seems to rather cherrypick right now.

I'm still a huge fan of Sergio. And, I think he would obliterate Cotto at 154 or 160 if he fights him today. However, he hasn't fought the opponents Cotto has.
Hey J, that opportunity wasn't just handed to him he earned it. We all know Martinez also earned his frequent flyer miles as well !!! My opinion is Cotto would still give him a run for his money at 154. Not saying he would win but it would make for a good fight. It makes good buissness sense if he can't get Pac or May.
