obviously team martinez are mad at him for not taking their challenge, and also with that incident where cotto didn't want to shake his hand or whatever, idk if it's true or not, but whatever. this doesn't look good for martinez or his team, but hey, what are you gonna do about it? all cotto could do is look the other way, unless he wants to man up and make a fight at 154.

No problem with him calling out Cotto though. Cotto has a belt at 154, Sergio can make 154. Cotto has turned into a b*tch since the Pacquiao fight.

Sure Martinez wants a Mayweather or Pacquiao payday. He's no spring chicken. He wants to have a retirement fund to live on in Argentina.
What's Cotto's excuse? He's still virtually young and in his prime. He hasn't done anything more that Martinez. Yet his fans exaggerate just as much and are just as ******.
Most of the guys this generation calls "great" have no longevity at the top against top competition, they haven't fought and beaten the #1 and #2 in their own divisions, and they have a ton of padding to justify the numbers on their record. Some guys have 40 fights against tomato cans before they have ever even stepped up to world class competition. Go look at the records of the guys you consider "great" and see what I'm talking about.
It ain't nuthugging if what you say is true, but when you have to exaggerate the importance of a fighter's wins for them to seem better than they really are .. well .. it is what it is.
