But Mosley is not shot, and can still win a strap at welter and has the beating of Berto.
If that's how we define "over the hill", than I stand corrected.

Maybe Mosley isn't getting better, but the saying "you can't beat me on my worst day" applies to Mosley against modern day WW's.

I don't see what Shane Mosley can do to Andre Berto. Berto was an overrated champion yes, but he's still young and I think he'll hit Shane at will. Mosley doesn't have a defense or a jab. To win fights you gotta throw punches. Shane didn't do nothing in his last 3 fights. He didn't do nothing again Mora, someone he's suppose to walk all over on. That fight was a draw for a reason.

Thats the way I define over the hill. Going up the hill you are improving, e.g Khan, on top of the hill, prime, Froch, over the hill, a fighter on the decline, Mosley, Johnson R. Marquez. Shot would be Roy or Enzo.

But I agree with you and I think Mosley can beat most of the top ten welters.

Let me start by saying I don't think Berto is a bad fighter. I think he gets a lot of hate on NSB.

That said, if Berto struggled with Collazo and was knocked down multiple times by Ortiz, IMO, he still can't beat Shane on his worst day.

Mosley is way over the hill.

He has only looked good once out of his last five fights. Its fair that two of those fights were against Mayweather and Pacquiao but he was so out of character in those fights, he couldnt pull the trigger and seemed content with just going the distance.

Even against Mora, he couldnt pull the trigger and Mora is average imo with his best win over a older unprepared forrest who beat him in the rematch.

Thats not the Sugar Shane i have watched in the past. He would of gave both those guys a good fight and he would of had fun with Mora.

I think he should retire because its only gonna get worse for him and i wouldnt like to see that.

What's funny is most of you guys thought I was crazy when I said Berto or JMM would beat Mosley before the Mayweather/Pacquiao fights. He's been shot for years, I get the feeling that most of you guys never even watched Mosley before the Margarito fight.

He's one of the most overrated fighters of this past decade. He's been over the hill since 2002. One win over Margarito(which I won alot of money on Mosley) doesn't mean he's anywhere near his prime.

I seriously can't believe OP said Mosley isn't over the hill. It's insane for him to even think that.

I think you did the latter.
