I'll give Haye credit for making the fight of interest -- he forced Wlad out of his comfort zone in the lead-up, but then Wlad found a new comfort zone and appeared to get the best of Haye in the pressers.
Haye did overdo it with the trash talk, but he did create a stir.
But he didn't even come close to backing up what he said he'd do, and as even he admitted, when that happens, you have to take the heat.
Wlad won easy, but I think he could have pressed more in the last few rounds for a KO. Wlad himself now says the same thing.
Vitali would KO Haye, and I'd love to see it -- but Haye won't go near Vitali, it seems.Comment

IMHO, Vit would KO Wlad as well.Comment

Haye badly under-performed when it came to backing up his trash talk.
But if you think that the blame for why that fight stunk sits solely on Haye's shoulders, you are crazy.Comment

I have to ask when did I ever state that Enzo Macc would beat the Beast, or are you just making things up? What I said was that Enzo Macc was the only in his prime world class fighter that Haye has beat, and that ain't saying much. And if you disagree with that tell me why.
As far as Holyfield beating the Beast I think the fight was closer than the Haye-Valuev but I still don't believe Holyfiled won. With that said I am and always was a huge fan of the "Real Deal" and I still don't think he won. But, lets say I do agree with you and Holyfield did in fact win the fight, what does that say about Haye? When Holyfield, a fighter who had not won a meaningful fight in more than a decade, was able to fight and look better against the Beast than a in his prime Haye. Pretty sad for a supposed top ten heavyweight in the world if I do say so myself. And I am not totally closed minded because I will listen to an argument about Holyfiled winning the fight. But, as far as Haye doing enough to win I didn't see it the first time nor the several times that I forced myself to watch that horrible excuse for a fight since.
I have to be honest and say that I am not sure what fight you were referring to as far as Haye's jab so I can't respond. And if I can I am going to regress for a moment.
I did say that I had a hard time rating Haye very high and that was a statement not a question. And than you asked me who I thought could beat Haye. And I guess you did not like my answer so you copped an attitude. However, I will say it again I don't care and it doesn't matter who I believe can beat Haye. Simply because in my opinion they would be little more than fantasy fights and you mine as well have asked me who would have won Dempsey or Ali.
In closing I am also going to amend a statement I made in an earlier post. I stated that I would rate Haye above Arreola but after thinking about it I think I am going to change that, and this is why. Haye may have more skills than Arreola and he may even be more powerful, debatable. However, one thing I will say about Chris, when he fought Vitali he was highly outclassed. However, he came to fight and left it all in the ring because he has something that Haye is obviously missing and that is a lot of heart.
And sometimes having a big heart is more important than having all the skills in the world and that is something coming from me because I don't even like Chris. But, I can honestly say that I have more respect for the way Chris loses than anything to do with what Haye does.Last edited by Ravens Fan; 08-26-2011, 02:54 PM.Comment

Wasting your time? Do you really think you are that important? And I actually answered the question about the top ten in a previous post. And if you think I am wasting your time, it's a simple process don't respond. However, I will respond.

I didnt rate Macca, so I think both Mormeck and Valuev were better wins.
And I definitely think that Holyfield won that fight.
And I could not respect someone who chooses to sit in his room playing Xbox when he should be preparing for a title fight.
We can agree to disagree.
Apologies, maybe I thought you were winding me up when you said that you did not rank Haye in the top 10, but did not care that it was likely nobody else could beat him.Comment

Here is the problem.....
Haye IS one of the best heavyweights in the world right now.
Call it an indictment on the sport, whatever, but that is why nobody can get an accurate gauge on the Klitschko's.
Either way, Wlad should have had him out of there.
I am not attributing this comment to anyone in particular, but hardcore K-bro fans will say that..... " Foreman and Frasier were bums, and Wlad would easily beat them both ".....
Fkn bull****, he couldnt get Haye out of there, and likely still cant fight off the back foot.
Vitali is the best HW in the world imho, and yes, I believe that he could hang with most of them coz hes tough as hell.Comment
