The guy really didn't come to fight and leave it all in the ring. What a disappointment. So yeah, go away and live your life now that you have millions upon millions that you got from the Brit fans.

David can retire from boxing and will not be missed. He's been threatening to retire so let him retire.
As a person he ******,he starved Monte Barrett, deprived Monte Barrett of food and booked him in a s h i t hotel. This is what I will remember David Haye with. The Audrey Harrison fight was inexcusable, that was a rip off.

Take the money and run! Haye is a great businessman, I'll give him that.

For all the slagging that Haye is getting he is still the best Heavyweight out there outside of the 2 T100's. Really doesnt say much for the state of the division especially in the USA where there is no one better than the so called joke that is Haye. I cant remember too many people handing out the same kind of **** to the poor excuses for challengers from the States that have fought either brother that Haye has received though.

Haye semi retired after the Enzo fight. Really his career after that was a total let down. The time between the Enzo and Barrett fights he could easly have made a defence against Cunningham, then the time between the Barrett and Valuev fights he could have made another fight with a decent contender (even taking into account the joke that was the orginal Haye vs Wlad fight) and likewise between the Ruiz and Harrison fights he could have made a defence against a decent fighter.

If Haye does retire after the fight against Wlad it shows he had little heart for the game left anyway.

Froch is the real deal. A hard training underrated fighter/boxer that would have been a champion in any era.
Haye was a top Cruiserweight but has, in reality, been all at sea as a Heavyweight and would be a top 5 contender nothing more. He should retire.

Haye won't retire. He'll back pretty soon to redeem himself. He's still a top fighter in the HW and I would still pick him to beat most guys out there.

                  To FastBlack

If he does, then what a waste of talent, he was good.
He should carry on and fight the other klitchsko, otherwise he will be forgotten in Boxing sands of time.

to 'FastBlack', I agree with you that david did overhype the match. But i dont think you know what your talking about mate. The reason we brits supported not only david but every other british fighter no matter how world class or **** they might be, is because we are patriotic. We will get behind our fellow country men 110%.

You gotta understand that being patriotic is not just all about saluting your flag once and a while, or having a tear drop from your eye when singing your national anthem. Its more then that, its about sticking with your countrymen and showing your unquestionable loyalty buddy. But i guess America is too big for that, but i suggest you guys try it one day.

The British Queen is a first-ballot vagina-hall-of-shame candidate. Wladimir retired that British coward just like he said he would.

Where are all the Gayevid supporters now? Not a single one has come to defend him on this thread. Bandwagoners....

Watch the HBO Faceoff, Wlad tells Gayevid - "Enjoy all the lights, all the cameras, enjoy it now, because after July 2nd it will all be gone." So true. Goodbye Mr. Flashy-Flash, you will be remembered as the coward with a big mouth and a broken little pinky toe for an excuse. Diva "The Excusemaker" Haye, now go to Hollywood like you said you would, except you stink as an actor as well.

I didn't write anything because the lack of respect for a 2 weight world champ on this thread is di****able. Have you ever heard of winning with grace? I guess not. David Haye is a very good fighter, as a fan of Wlad you should acknowledge that he beat a very good fighter, it only reflects better on Wlad's resume anyway. As I am writing this post I honestly don't know why I am wasting my time with you.

Wladimir did not exactly come out of that fight with huge plaudits, he barely landed a worth while punch. He couldn't once hurt a fighter who is known to have a weak chin, and I don't want to hear about Haye being defensive because he is always defensive and a counter puncher. Haye coudn't deal with the speed of Wlad's footwork, spacing, and timing...but Wlad again fought too defensive and too safe. Wlad is a winner...I will give him that, he has addressed his weaknesses and become a world class heavyweight, but he has quite a bit to do if he wants to be remembered as one of the atg's, and the Haye performance would not have added much in that respect.
