    Haye's top wins:

    -Maccarinelli
    -Harrison
    -Ruiz
    -Valuev
    -Mormeck

    Mayorga's best wins:

    Forrest (x2)
    Vargas
    Lewis
    Piccirillo

I think despite Haye being an 'Undisputed Champion' at CW, the Cruiserweight division is lacking talent. His best wins at HW are weak opposition. The only decent wins were Mormeck who wobbled him like cardboard and Valuev when he set a record for the least number of punches thrown in a HW contest.

Meanwhile Mayorga beat a 'Prime' Vernon Forrest by KO and beat him on points. He also beat Fernando Vargas but he was agreeably done.

He gave Tito all he could handle early on and gave Cotto, Mosley, Spinks a rough time.

I think Mayorga has more legit wins, Haye certainly attains the Undisputed status, but Mayorga I would rate the higher of the two.

    Good Thread by the way.

two wins over Forrest>Haye's entire career. I mean, Haye's best win is Mormeck or Valuev, and a lot of people thought he lost that horrible fight...

and Mayorga was the best WW in the world when he beat Forrest, who was coming off two wins over Mosley who had beaten DLH

Mayorga beating Forrest is better than anything Haye's done, but Haye was unified cruiserweight champion. Mayorga can't match that.

I don't think that Haye was Undisputed, he was Unified Champion. He held 3 of the 4 major titles.

Agreed. Mayorga is extremely overrated based on his fights with Vernon Forrest. And the second was highly questionable. I also believe Mayorga would have lost to Margarito had they met 147 while both had belts.

You couldn't tell about Mayorga, he was so wild and threw punches from the most impossible directions and angles that you could never count him out in his prime against anybody. And he had a very good chin, he took 3 of Trinidad's patented left hooks in a "free shot" he gave him, and still stayed on his feet, although slightly staggered by one.
