It's true, but Pascal lost to Froch and he's not comfortable at that Bute's weight, he's bigger than Bute ( in person you would never believe that they were in the same division ). Bute doesn't want to fight in LHW now, he didn't like the fact that he was not invited in the S6. I can understand that, if he wins his fight against the S6 winner, then he might fight Pascal. Unfortunately for Pascal, Bute has more skills than him and i don't think it's a good move.

Quilling had a chance, like Pascal had. Pascal took the chance and became a WC. Then he fought the P4P Dawson and a legend twice...

I reckon the fight was supposed to be at 175 or at a catchweight.

Bute is the taller guy and he is a huge SMW. In fact he weighed 176 lbs the morning after weighing 168 lbs at the official weigh-in for Mendy. I guess IV's works wonders for a dehydrated body. Who knows how much he weighed come fightnight? Maybe 185?

Bute has been accused of lowballing Pavlik, Kessler and Johnson (in the beginning). Turning down a lowball is not ducking.

Bute himself however has on several occasions ducked Pascal. He claimed weight was the issue. Just as Quillin does now. Same standard for everyone please.

"Lowball offer" is often used as an excuse for ducking.

Bute's situation with Pascal is different than Quillan's situation with Bute:

1) Bute has never fought at 175, Quillan has been fighting at 168

2) Bute agreed to fight Pascal at 168 but not 175

3) Bute is already a world champion at 168, Quillan is not a world champion at 160

according to showtime which actually does official measurements he's 6'1 1/2 while dirrell is 6'1 and ward is 6'0. so you are wrong(as usual)

Yea, why is everyone ducking Bute? Kessler was crying about being lowballed and in return is now making 1.5m in his home country cuz he has to pay Stiegler like 3.5m.

Bute walks around at 190lbs. Quillin walks around at 168 naturally. He NEVER wanted to fight SMW. I was upset at first when I heard the news. When I spoke with him, he made it 100% clear that he will be MIDDLE WEIGHT CHAMPION of the World! While ranked as a SMW, 15 of his 25 fights he weighed a low 162lbs or less. This is FACT, check the stats.

Bute has fought absolutely NO ONE! He will get rocked by any of the top 3 in the Super 6 tourney. Quillin will be Middle Weight Champ!

Forgot to mention, he spars with SMW & Cruiserweights, so fear of a bigger man in definitely not a factor. Boxing is a business, and Quillin is in it to capitalize on a money making division.
