I think resto got caught in the ring after he beat the kid it was during the decision, margarito landed over 200 power punches on cotto, i also think something like that on your hand can prolly hurt your hand or break it, margarito was never caught beatin up somebody with plaster, i want to think margarito did intend to cheat on mosley cause they had said he didnt properly trained n weight drained, hopefully he says the truth someday or maybe he already has but will never belive until he admits he did

simple as it is, if your caught red handed thats it. no excuses. his trainer is still banned, but not him right? how ridiculous is that jim? be as it may money nowadays is whats messing up the sport of boxing. thats the only reason he even got a license in texas. credit to the california and las vegas commission to deny him his license again.

Here’s the BIG difference in this paradox, you have ONE man (Resto) who confesses/admits he’s done wrong and should be banned for life. While you have another (Margarito) who still claims he didn’t even know those plaster pads were even there!


To add to the irony of this story, in the documentary Bob Arum was pretty much demonizing Resto’s actions while in boxing athletic hearings defending Margarito!

Yeah, the Resto case is quite different.
They took an ounce of padding out of each glove then soaked it in Plaster of Paris so it was hard for him to deny it.
