The lack of damage on Maidana's face is nothing short of extraordinary... Khan was tapping him with some brutal combos for the first 6 rounds. The guy is a straight up beast... I didn't realise Khan was that much bigger than him as well (yes I am aware Khan is probably wearing trainers in this shot).

the only time i've seen marcos come out with significant damage is the ortiz fight. yea, it was shortly after. khan went to chino's locker to leave on good terms after that little scuffle after the bell.

I like watching Maidana but he is limited. The big fight he won Ortiz had him down and quit. Against Khan, Morales, Kotelnik and DeMarcus Corley he failed to impress. So though he is entertaining he is overrated.

Maidana is a fan-friendly fighter who gives us fans good fights, he also has a ton of heart, after taking that vicious body shot by Khan and coming back and almost put Khan away, got off the canvas 3 times to stop Ortiz.
