Saying that Ortiz said he's going for a decision in this article? 25 and already senile as ****?

I see Floyd's only obstacle being his age and the 16 month lay off. Nothing else. If Ortiz is any good, he should be able to beat a 34 year old past prime Floyd coming off over a year lay off. Actually any decent but strong southpaw fighter can beat this version of Floyd.

Floyd is my favorite active fighter but every undefeated fighter loses that 0 sooner or later, and Floyd did this to himself with his ****** 2 year lay offs, twice in his career, that's nearly 4 years of vacation. On September 17, it is very possible for us to say goodbye to that zero.

If Floyd can prove me wrong and beat Ortiz, that would be good, but people are overrating Mayweather and sleeping on Ortiz.

damn i can't WAIT for this fight! I'd like to see Ortiz win, but mayweather is just too good. . . just too damn good. . . ortiz is most vulnerable to the straight right, which happens to be may's best punch.

i expect it to be a good fight with SOME two-way action. . .

whatever mexican american boy..as long as u don't cry in the post fight interview after running into a brutal counter check hook by Floyd...I anticipate a KO in this fight and its the 24 year old who ends up in hospital....would hate to hear another "I don't deserve to get beaten up this way" rant

I felt a bit uncomfortable when Floyd said he wouldn't run against Ortiz. That He would stand and box him like he did against Mosley. That's more risky against a younger guy who has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Floyd's going to have to put on his best defensive strategy if he's only going to stand in front of Ortiz. He might be underestimating Vic's determination a bit.

I wouldn't take chances against Vic regardless of his limited experience at welter.
