His career might be effectively over. Unless your name is Floyd Mayweather, Jr., it's very difficult to pick up your boxing career right where you left off after such a long layoff. I hate to say it, but it would serve Solis right. He never took his pro career as seriously as he should've. On the other hand, maybe this'll serve as a "wake up call."

As much as I was disgusted with Solis's performance in his one (and possibly only) title fight, I wouldn't want to see his career ended. The man has talent and power, and would make a fine addition to the heavyweight division were he to train as he should.

He needs to get rid of Oner though, and quick.
