I heard Mcbride was supposed to fight Ruiz after his win over Tyson, but now whoever wins this bout between Skelton/Mcbride is going to face Ruiz after his defense with Valuev, After the Valuev fight whoever wins are going to fight for the WBA Heavyweight title with the winner of Skelton/Mcbride.

McBride is a big man with some whiskers. His work rate with Tyson was really not that bad. I just fancy that he has an outside chance. Heh, I like a risk. I've never bet here on this site and have few points anyway but if anyone wants 'em....

That sounds about right, actually. Though I imagine McBride feels he has a lot more to prove.

Imagine if McBride actually got lucky and unified the belts. Unlikely I know, not to say downright impossible, but...

It could be wrong, but the Liverpool Echo (which was the first online news service to report the bout according to my google search) had this now being a WBO eliminator.
