That was a good heavyweight brawl with Mirovic who's basically just a big strong guy and Skelton's not far off that either so it was two big guys slugging it out but the punch that closed the eye was an actual punch in the eye so it was a bit of a freak accident really, I'd even pick Mirovic over McBride (Mirovic beat the huge Timo Hoffman in Germany but never got the decision)
I pick Skelton to stop McBride, Matt has good stamina, a solid looking chin and while he looks slow & lumbering, McBride is just so bad it's unreal, I don't even consider the Tyson fight cos McBride never done anything except block punches and wait for the old boy to get tired & submit so take that away & he's still as bad as he was before, which was pretty bad!

Yeah, I think the question has to be "What in the Hell can Skelton do when he has to face Ruiz or Brewster as a consequence of beating McBride?"

Man don't! Skelton or McBride v Ruiz I don't even want to think about that! Brewster's ok cos he's usually in good fights but any combination of the others is just poor & when you add the name Ruiz into the mix it gets even bleaker, I usually watch as much as I can but **** that for a good nights boxing!

I'm afraid that McBride is in for a serious, serious beating. He's got guts but he's just not a world-class fighter.

What I'm really thinking about is how can Skelton go up against Brewster?

Nah when it comes to being unskilled McBride's a run away winner!

That's what I like about Skelton & his attitude he's willing to give it a good go, he'd give it everything but Matt only brawls & I think Brewster would beat him at his own game, it's not hard to believe Brewster can box better either so good while it lasts but you have to favour Brewster heavily.

Whoever voted for McBride by knockout needs to lay off the mushrooms. Skelton is going to walk right through him and I dont see the fight lasting longer than 1 or 2 rounds.
