Matthew Hatton Is One Of The Most Boring Boxers Ever.

Managed to just watch his recent fight. He fought someone with a 15-0-3 but the fighter had never beat no one of note.

Dredfull fight. Matthew's a boxer, but isn't really all that slick or smooth. He has a very ugly mauler style and can't crack a egg.

He won on points. DREDFULL fight and Matthew is a Dredfull fighter to watch.

hatton is just your average boxer. nothing special, but not that bad either. no power, but not exactly your TRUE feather fisted boxer. just a C all around in every class. he has no choice but to be boring if he wants to win. . .

Matthew Hatton is a terrible fighter.

The ratings the was receiving from his 12 rounds to 0 loss to Alvarez was incredibley frustrating.

He will retire having never been a World Champion.

dude hatton isn't terrible. . . he's just average all around. . . a terrible fighter wouldn't be able to go 12 rounds with a beast like alvarez. hatton was dwarfed by alvarez - he was handpicked opponent who was supposed to be KO'd. . .

he also should have won the IBO strap against N'dou. I thought he clearly outboxed him.

it's just that he doesn't have flashy skills, speed, power, NOR is he an exciting brawler type fighter. but he has a good chin, decent conditioning, and just all around average skills. not terrible, though.

i mean compared to the superstars of boxing, yeah, i suppose he is terrible in comparison. but still, to be even a european champion takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and natural ability. he's a top 25ish boxer in his weight class - a terrible boxer couldn't do that. he probably will never win a world title, but neither will 99.9999% of boxers who lace 'em up in the professional ranks
