Mike Tyson Is Starring In Rocky 6

Rocky 6 Is going to start shooting soon and Sylvester has
choose Mike Tyson to play the part of Mason Dixon!
I got the whole story according to an Interview with Stallone and
some websites that gave the half of the story and some scripts
    provided by Sly magazine.

In the film, Adrien has died because of cancer, lonely and retired
boxer Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement, intending to fight a
few low-profile local fights just to keep his hand in. But when he's approached to fight a match with reigning heavyweight champ
Mason "The Line" Dixon (Mike Tyson). Rocky's modest little comeback becomes the center of a media firestorm.

In Rocky VI, Clubber Lang - who played Rocky Balboa's opponent in "Rocky III" - will now be a commentator.

Ivan Drago will now be the trainer of Rocky

Rocky has some money problems and might have to close his beloved gym/rec center down. So Rocky decides to come out of retirement and have a boxingmatch for a fund raiser to save his gym/rec center.

Rocky knows he'll need a big name to spar with, so he contacts none other then Ivan Drago!

Ivan Drago is actually a changed man. After losing to Rocky Balboa in their boxing match, Drago realized the horror he did.
[Ending Rocky's career and more importantly killing Apollo Creed.]

Drago's fight with Rocky was his last. He felt so bad for what he did, he could not box anymore. So he retired from boxing in 1990 at age 30. His wife left him as a result and was clearly only interested in him for fame and money.

He then moved back to Moscow to become a coal miner. He remarried
and started a family. He also learned how to speak English during the 80's and speaks it very well now without any problems. He also immediately stopped using steroids after his fight with Balboa.

He's a tough man to get a hold of and has only done one interview his whole life. And that was in the summer of 1995, Marking the ten year anniversary since Apollo's death. He invited 20/20 into his home in Moscow and he stunned the world when he actually broke down in tears when talking about Apollo Creed.

He only has done this one interview and even did the interview for free because he didn't want people thinking he was trying to gain sympathy and/or money. He has refused any interviews since and just wants to be left alone.

Rocky recalled the 95' interview and thought that since Drago has
changed his ways, he'd be willing to do the match. Especially if
he offered half of the money he was going to make.

However, Drago refused any money and offered to do the match for free. He was happy when he got the call from Rocky and was hoping he could finally put the past behind him. Even though it's been well over twenty years since Drago last stepped in a boxing ring, he figured he could remember enough and with the right training, he would do fine. Plus, since he was boxing 54-year old Rocky Balboa who also had not boxed in a ring for over twenty years, things would be evenly matched.

Drago was still very fit and exercise regularly. Plus, oddly enough Drago actually didn't think he'd stand a chance against Rocky and had no problem playing "the bad guy" and getting beaten. So the two agreed it would be a "legends match" and promised each other, it would be sparring at the most and would be nothing like the match they had in 1985. 8 rounds. Headgear. The works.

      hmm

So are they bringing Dolph Lundgren back from the dead?

Good stuff...Universal Soldier was a good movie. I'll see Rocky VI even if it might suck.

      Take a chance.

            Yup

Before the bout, Rocky and Drago were made fun of a lot on TV and
by the media about their ages. Even the current heavyweight champion, Mason Dixon [Mike Tyson] made jokes about it in a recent interview but later apologised.
Drago was well used to be being insulted so he ignored the comments. Rocky however did not and made some insulting comments of his own directed to Mason. Mason responded by challenging him to a fight the night of Balboa's return bout. However, Rocky was not told of this until after his match with Drago.

The fight itself was a huge success.Rocky and
Drago drew in enough money to save Rocky's place.

As for the result.....well the fight was nothing like the 85' brawl as promised. Drago dominated the fight all the way until round 4. Rocky got the knock out though and the win much to the crowd's delight in the last round.

After the fight, Balboa is told about Mason's challenge and
Balboa accepts it! Mason's challenge was intended as a joke and
he had no clue Balboa would take it seriously. A lot of people all thought it was a joke too but Balboa was serious. And Mason
couldn't back out now, this fight was going to happen.
It was later discovered that Drago took a dive because he wanted
Rocky to win.Rocky was not happy about this and demanded a private sparring session between the two. Drago agrees and knocks Rocky out for the ten count in round 2.Rocky is stunned. Drago told Rocky he needed training and needed to improve his strength and that he lost lots of his strength with aging and if he was going to stand a chance against Mason, he needed to train and train hard.

Drago offers to train Balboa for his fight with Mason Dixon,
            Balboa accepts.

They apparently thought Rocky was too old. "As long as people feel
life is an uphill battle, it will never be over", Stallone said.
"Rocky VI is about people who get to 50 and life says 'Get out of
the way, you're obsolete'. I say to life: 'Move me or go around.
I'm not volunteering to step out'.

There is a budget of $45 million.

Rocky 6 is scheduled to begin filming early December in Los Angeles.

              Rocky 6

              The Storyline:

With the deaths of both his corner men Mickey Goldmill and Apollo
Creed, Balboa has hired Clubber to work his corner for this "Super
              fight".

Mason, who grew up on Balboa really shows the champion respect at the
press conference being held the week of the fight. To date, this is
the biggest fight in boxing history with Balboa guaranteed 12 million
and Mason 10 million. The fight is going to be held at the legendary
              Madison Square Garden.

This fight is billed as "The Brawl For It All".... Balboa has stated
that Win, Lose or Draw, this is his last fight in the ring. In fact,
this is the last 12 round-sanctioned heavyweight fight.

The only press statement from Mason is as follows:

"I have respected Rocky Balboa since I first saw him defeat
Apollo Creed in their rematch for the Heavyweight Championship of
the World. I regret making comments about him in that Interview
and I respect him since that win, Balboa has represented his
belt with Class and Honor, but now it's time for him to pass
              the torch."

The evening before the fight, Rocky is actually a 2-1 underdog going
into the fight. Last minute reports have rumored Balboa was knocked
down in training by sparring partner & trainer Ivan Drago.
When asked about it, Clubber Lang whos the commentator of the fight
says: "Balboa was knocked down, but as he always does, he got right
back up, and had Drago on the canvaswhich ended the sparring session
              for the day".

The fight starts and when its finished .....--

After the fight was over Both fighters embrace and the crowd is
on their fight giving them a well-deserved standing ovation.
Corners are hugging, and congratulating both sides for what is being
called the "Fight of the Century". Anthony Samuel has the score
tallies and he reads them off: Ladies and Gentlemen We have a
Winner by split decision, We go to the scorecards:
Judge Dalby Shirley scores the fight 113-112 for Mason,
Judge Arthur Mercante, SR., scores the fight 114-111 and Judge
Glenn Hamada scores it 115-113 in favour of....

The New Heavyweight Champion ROOOOOCKYYYY BALBOAAA....

Mason comes over once again to congratulate Rocky
and wishes him the best in his retirement.

Anthony gives Rocky the microphone and the crowd in the Garden goes
silent. Balboa, goes on to say, "I thank all of you for supporting me
throughout my boxing career. Tonight, two warriors went at each
other for 12 rounds and in the end I think we came out even.
I am proud that the old man hung in there with the young warrior.
I know many of you would love to see a rematch, but it's my time to
move on"... Rocky then asks Mason to come over. Balboa turns
to Mason, and says, "I am passing the torch to you to carry the
heavyweight division. As Apollo did years before me, and I tried to
do after him, I want you to carry the crown." Mason hugs him, and
once again, the crowd erupts in cheering with many ringsiders having
tears in their eyes as a great champion moves
              on to life after boxing.

I got this information from Sylvesters Sly Magazine, and gathered the resource, thats the WHOLE storyline in Rocky 6.

ya know, I love Stallone. great guy, even though he's a little clueless on boxing. I really can't say very much bad about the guy. Definitely one of the most humble celebrities around. he's a true class act. And he's been very good for boxing.
