margarito lost fair and square to pac and mosley however pac really capitalized on that shut eye ,margs landed 230 punches on pac the most ever and sent him to the hospital pissin blood, with one eye from round 3 on,while that wasnt luck on either guy( pacs power and margs relentless pressure), it does say alot about both dudes.had margs not sustained an injury with the amount that he landed he could of conceivably stopped pac just like he stopped cotto late,the signs are all there,pac got hurt to the body and pac took alot of punches by a one eyed fighter. that said margs stops cotto in the exact same manner he did the first time out cotto is just too soft and he hasnt looked good in years.margs,jmm,and morales remain the only dudes to really take a physical toll on manny thus far.jmm has fared the best of those despite he suffered flash knockdowns but overall put forth more punishment on manny than the other way around.

I think Cotto fanatics tend to overestimate how much he has left at this point -- his skills have been eroding for several years and he hasn't really looked like an elite fighter since before the Clotty fight -- so he's hardly a sure thing against Margarito.
